Garden update

So, for anyone who hasn't heard me gushing about this already: For the first time in my life, I have a vegetable & herb garden. Using the square foot method (more or less) in a 4x4 raised box.

The good so far:

• enough lettuce for salads several times a week. I especially like the "Ithaca" type - curly and crunchy
• mint and chives going like

What sort of pepper do you intend to harvest?

Sweet peppers. One is red - "Carmen" (nothing on that one yet) and the other is yellow, but I don't remember the breed name. The lone pepper on that one is getting really big - as big as the bell peppers we'd buy at the grocery store, but it's still green.

Oh! For some reason I instinctively went to, like... black pepper.
