Ha, my reaction to the TV was me saying "Oh my god!".
Though the real question is, is it true?
The credits? Listed The Stig as cast, and special guest appearance by Michael Schumacher...

And would we ever know for sure either way? Because whoever they reveal, I'd probably still doubt it simply because they like to pull your leg like that...

Apparently it's still to be confirmed, but very likely it was all a stunt o_O

Now I can't wear my 'I am the Stig' T-shirt out in public because THEY WILL KNOW I AM A FRAUD

I wouldn't put it past those jokers actually, though Clarkson has been telling people left and right that they are unveiling the identity of The Stig.

The more I think about it, the more it seems like a stunt.

Those t-shirts are truly awesome. =D

As an aside, did the Maple Leafs ever get back to you?

No, they didn't - and I think I sent three emails in the end. There's a mobile number on the website, I've not tried that yet.

So I heard there are four different Stigs, not sure how true that is. I love loving Top Gear, because I can talk to my schoolkids about it. I've got the Special from Vietnam ready to watch, they screened that the day I flew off to start my trip so I can't wait to pick out some of the places I went to.

Jeez, that's so rude. *shakes head* No wonder there isn't much interest in the sport in this country...

I remember the first 'Stig' was 'Black' Stig but his identity was outed so they got rid of the guy. And then there are ones like 'Stig's African Cousin' from the special where they drove across Botswana. I've not seen the Vietnam Special - I will have to get that because the specials are always good.

Hmmmmm. I think it's an obvious conclusion to draw that there would be more than one guy playing The Stig.

Wellll... apparently, Michael owns the Ferrari FXX which they had on the show and the only way to get that car on the show would be to have the owner there too.

Also cleverly deduced by my brother, on many occassions The Stig has nearly been the same height as Jeremy Clarkson, but Schumacher is much shorter....
