I can understand wanting to do something, but this has more potential to make everything worse.

There's no way you can tell who's CLF and who isn't. If you bring attention to yourself from the rest of the public through this hunt, they will be more likely to side with the CLF. It will turn into a battle of species. The CLF are numerous, but the rest of the public still outnumber the CLF and us. If anyone starts proving them right, making the supernatural people more known, we could be in much more trouble.
