Couldn't agree more.

But I'm rather new here, so, while I have a fair amount of organizational experience, I'm not entirely sure what sort of response is generally called for.

I think I'd need to chat a bit more with some of the people about who have the actual ability to respond. Most of my own work has been... freelance.

Email, forums, news sites, safehouses, I hear you; an informed public is a free public is a public which isn't cannibalizing itself over every little bump and mishap, and I kinda wish our govt would figure that out sooner rather than later. What sort of wozzit do you need? I may not be the most up on the tech side, but I've got a long and storied history in politics and infodestribution.
