is your hair highlighted or is that gray that is highlighting it? if it is gray highlighting it that is neat! i love the multi-dimensionalness of the color. it does look good

If you can get yourself some Redken rough paste (#12, I think it is) you will love it. You don't need a smoother - you need a separator, a chunker, a sort-of-pomade. Use a tiny, tiny bit. I still really like it!

Yes I wouldn't be a-smoothing or a-flattening. I'd be thinking piece-y around the face. A little tousled.
