When roommates and literature collide

So my roommate says she needs to read me a bedtime story. She's weird like that. I told her I needed to read Children of Hurin for Tolkien class, and that she wouldn't be able to read Tolkien to me. I wouldn't attempt to read Tolkien aloud unprepared, ever. Great stories, but the names require thinking about.

*is amused* I tend to pronounce everything in Tolkien as if it were Spanish. Which has results probably a long way from what he wanted, but they're results~
And I got my Spanish teacher to read the Silm and I don't think he can pronounce anything in there at all. The only reason he agreed was because I had been making fun of him for thinking Earendil was a girl's name~ XD

And that ended up fairly random. Oh well!
