Another contestant that made me cry. :D I've watched the Susan Boyle vid about a dozen times then was told about this vid. The look on the kid's face when Simon... I'll let you see for yourself. ;)

All is indeed well, m'dear! I'm more of an observer these days when it comes to LJ and fandom. Which translates to: yes, I'm a creepy stalker who reads about your fitness regime and never comments. :P I was supposed to be having a break to try that Writing Thing but that didn't happen. Actually trying to write in the first place instead of watching tv downloads would help...

The current shiny distractions are Life, Criminal Minds, NCIS, Supernatural, Primeval and Youtube. Being honest? The biggest distraction from writing is me. For someone who wants to write, I seem to find an awful lot of excuses not to do the joining words to tell a tale thing. :D

This is the first time I've had a chance to watch this clip. Does this prove that Simon really is an evil genius of music? I've never seen this show, obviously, apart from the YouTube of Susan Boyle (which also made me cry), but does he often stop people after they've started and make them do something else? That was just...amazing. And, it pains me to admit it, but Simon was right. :)

Simon really is an evil genius. I've seen lots of comments about how it looks so rigged because the kid had a second song ready, but contestants are advised to bring a second choice, possibly in case what we see in the vid happens to them. Yes, Simon has done it before, in Britain's Got Talent and X Factor. It's usually when the contestant has pleaded for a second chance to prove themelf and he's taken pity on them; other times it's happened when he thinks another song would be better for them to show what they can do. Sometimes the contestant is just as bad with the second song, but sometimes they're so much bettter with another song like our lad Shaheen. And yes, Simon was absolutely right, the devil! :D

Next month? Why aren't you here now, dammit! :)
