Wow. Those were amazing! I love how the slots above Big Ben and The London Eye become launching pads for some of the fireworks, and how well they're incorporated into the whole display.

It must be amazing to be there, with the fireworks smell and the echoes of the explosions resonating through the crowd.

I'm hoping the same company, Kimbolton, do the Olympics as they certainly know how to start and finish with a bang. :D

Was just watching these on FB. Absolutely gorgeous. I've always wanted to celebrate New Years in NZ, but London is definitely making a good case for an alternative. *g*

They really integrated the music well with the fireworks. Sometimes it just looks like someone has bunged on a mix-tape they happened to have with them!
