i went to the doctor today and i am still 1 cm. my doctor told me that she was going to pull the membranes or membrane sac away from my cervix... or something like that and she explained that the cervix has a sack around it that holds all the membranes and she was basically tearing it away from my cervix, which should increase or speed up labor. so
