GAH. Oh my goodness... excuse me for that... but I am SO IN LOVE WITH THIS FIC RIGHT NOW. Everything about it-- the characterization (so perfect!), the word choice (you had such stunning similes and metaphors!), and the Middlefords being the bad guys?! GENIUS. I'm so ashamed of myself for never having thought of it before! (I sure hope Yana Toboso-sensei is taking notes... ^_~)

I actually didn't have the Middlefords as the bad guys, though I guess it seemed that way. But I think Iit would be very awesome if I could remedy that immediately. :D

I was inspired for this after reading House of Red, and the song 'Wait it Out' came out on my playlist, and I just had to write it. But I'm really happy you enjoyed it; I've always been a fan of your writing, so it means a lot. :DDD

I think it would be really awesome if you did write that up actually. I'm so bad with plots; I can never carry on multi-parters because of that. XDD I don't even know what sort of motive you could use for the Marchioness oging nuts over her own family members.

This is a very remarkable series. Part of the appeal was the darkness of it. Toboso-sensei doesn't sugarcoat anything, and though Kuroshitsuji has its cheesy moments, none of that excuses anything that the characters do. The manga especially, does a great illustration of that, especially in the most recent chapters. Kuroshitsuji's SebaCiel interaction is also one of the most interesting relationship dynamics that I've seen in a while. It definitely never gets boring, and there's still so much stuff left unfinished, so I'm always looking forward to new chapters.

In my opinion though, the anime really doesn't do the manga justice, so I encourage you to read it as soon as possible!
