Reading a good book for the first time makes me nervous, especially as I near the end. For example, I am in the middle of If on a Winter's Night a Traveler, which I grabbed off the shelf because it looked interesting. That's how I feel about every single Kurt Vonnegut book. I'm so excited until I realize I'm about to be at the end. A Kurt Vonnegut ending is rarely a good idea, though Kurt Vonnegun everything excluding endings is always a good idea. What a conundrum.
