Small business, she's the owner's wife, and is antsy. I *STILL* haven't convinced her to get a good AV on the computers!!

The programming classes I took 20 (OMG, that long?) years ago have been useful in so many ways. Everyone should be required to take a few and learn down in their marrow how interconnected everything is.

It's so frustrating when you see it coming, but can't do anything about it because they get to decide while you have to mop up afterwards. Grrr.

Is she going to go through those "back up tapes" to retrieve the information if it's even there? I imagine she forgot to take into account new accounts who hadn't bought much yet...
