What did you do in 2010 that you'd never done before?
Took a vacation by myself. Did intense, real speech therapy. Had a serious medical scare. Took a spin class (and fell in love with it). Bought a car. Ate an octopus (that looked like an octopus, not like those safe little rings of calamari). Cut my hair short-short. You know... got married.
Did you keep your New Year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I don't really do resolutions... but I do think I've made emotional progress since last year.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Previous-life friends from high school.
Did anyone close to you die?
Too many friends-of-friends died... but no one I knew personally.
What countries did you visit?
I went to California... does that count?
What would you like to have in 2011 that you lacked in 2010?
More balanced hormones. A consistent workout schedule. Less big-ticket purchases (weddings, even budget ones, are hell on one's finances).

What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Planning a wedding... don't laugh -- it's a big freaking job. Bulling through speech therapy even though it made me want to die, every single bloody week. Making and going to dentist and doctor's appointments that I'd made myself. Not going insane because of work.
What was your biggest failure?
Not being more pro-active about finding friends/social opportunities. Quitting speech therapy (due first to other constraints -- AKA "wedding and attendant hullaballoo" and then to fear of restarting).
Did you suffer illness or injury?
