Hm. Truly glorious name. Sir Gawain was one of my favorites of the Arthurian knights.

I always loved Lancelot best -- his love story is just so tragic -- but we already have Lancelot here, and Gawain just seemed more fitting.

Tristan and Iseult are appealing tragic figures to me and he was also an Arthurian knight in the quest of the Holy Grail. If we speak of touching love stories, Gawain's and Dame Ragnell's is more mature than any fancy paramour.
