Isn't that proposal the best one in literature ever?

It is! The whole book is awsome; it made me want to go to Oxford, but the ending was the best part of it. I also liked the solution to the mystery.

Absolutely. I didn't know all that much about Oxford and the college system, but it was a very interesting and educating read in a way. What I really liked was the fact that for once, here is a great detective novel which doesn't need a bloody murder to be exciting and thrilling.
