I hope you feel better soon! I always seem to get colds all winter and hayfever all summer, it's really annoying. And I think everyone in Germany under the age of 30, at least, has almost all their furniture from Ikea ;) Also, I love Baden-Wuerttemburg, I did three school exchanges in Altenstieg :) Mind if I steal the quiz? I'm procrastinating from writing my Referat, heh.

Thank you. You're probably right about Germans and IKEA. Although literally ALL my furniture is from there, so it is that bad.

I didn't know you had been on school exchanges to Germany. Altensteig - is that in the Black Forest? See, I don't even know.

Also, go ahead with the meme. I stole it myself, after all, so who am I to stop you?

Altensteig is just south of Stuttgart so I think it's pretty much in the Black Forest! There were always lots of trees there, anyway... I went on an exchange to Dresden, too - not that I did very much speaking in German on any of those!

It is indeed in the Black Forest, I just googled it. ;-) I never spoke or learnt much French on my school exchanges there. They can hardly expect you to be fluent after spending a week or so in another country. Still, looking back, those were fun times!

Is it wrong that I can't get that out of my head?!

Totally understand. Been there, doing that....

Been there, done that, wishing for a repeat? ::sighs::

God yes. Is it possibly worse when you DO know what you're missing?

Oh, absolutely. It is *killing* me right now! Especially since that was the best sex ever. Talk about knowing what you're missing.

I hate to tell you this, but I think you are a serious academic! It's kinda hard to get away from once you're in;)

The other thing this post made me think was "mmmm....boys! I want one." Which of course means I will not be seeing a naked boy any time soon because when you're looking, they never appear. Damn!

Thanks for breaking the news to me gently ;-) I'm still in doubt, though.

So know what you mean with the looking/not appearing thing. But how are you supposed to forget about the looking?! Beats me.

Also, still in love with your icon and slang!

I meant to say earlier, I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER! Sorry, didn't mean to shout;) I don't know what to do about the looking either. And lastly, woohoo slang!

Get well soon!

#2 I'm going to Cologne for an academic conference on Thursday.

So, you're out of town right now. Hope you have a blast and be confident. Half academics don't know what they're talking about most of the time and they've all been just like you at one time.

2. What would you do with 1,000 plastic spoons?

What kind of question is that?

I really want to go out on a fabulous date, but there aren't any guys...

Everyone wants to go out on a fabulous date!

I've liked them a whole lot better ever since I moved out for college, though.

That's sooo true...

Yes, a long time ago, when I was eleven or twelve, I think.

What a stupid game! I never got to kiss someone I wanted to.

All that sand in the wrong places...

Heh. I still think it might be worth it, though.

he said nothing much had happened and, basically, they couldn't blame the guy for trying. I'm still so pissed off when I think back to that. OMG! That's so, so ugh! Sometimes, men are trully pigs ( ... )

LOL. That is my impression, too. Actually, I did well there, I think. Especially since two of the other speakers really embarrassed themselves by talking complete and utter bullshit. Compared to them, it was easy to shine. ;-)

I never got to kiss who I wanted to with spin the bottle, either. Still, there should be more kissing these days. And more fab dates for everyone!

Heh. I still think it might be worth it, though.

So, even though you have all these beautiful Greek beaches, you mean to tell me you have never tried?!

I certainly can't wait to meet you and Quinn. ;-))

The beaches are very beautiful indeed and that's why they are usually all packed up with people. Even the supposed isolated ones. There are some only reached by boat, but sadly, I don't own one.
