I am SO over winter, and we didn't get as much snow as you guys this year.
Envious of your trip to see Colin's play! I am kicking myself that I used all my old FF miles for TW stuff (4 times in 2008-2009) and now have none left for all this fun stuff! Once my job is more stable, though, I am long overdue for a trip over.
We're less than an inch away from our snowiest winter ever, I think. And it's not even February.
Yes, I think you have definitely earned some stress-free vacation time. I was over there a couple times last year and adored it--I did make it to Cardiff and insisted on seeing all the TW sites, which was pretty neat!
Oh I'm glad you got the second email, I was going to message you today if I hadn't heard anything because I was worried it had become lost in the same cyberspace abyss the first one was! :D Also yes, everyone go and read it because it's adorable!
I COMPLETELY recommend Bath which I visit all the time, Cardiff I've only been to once but it's lovely and Brussels is actually my favourite city in the world. XD I used to live there and I still miss it like crazy, it's beautiful and gorgeous and just...GO! Also, excite that you're coming to the UK generally!
Oh god Being Human, there aren't words, I loved the first episode so much. <3 Here is hoping the the rest of the series maintains the awesome!
I did get your email (well, obviously), but apparently you did not get mine in reply thanking you profusely, LOL. So again, THANK YOU!
I went to Bath last March and LOVED it. I definitely would love to go back and explore some more, we did a quick drive through as part of a day tour. We did get to the baths, though! Went to Cardiff as well, which I also loved, because OMG the Castle is right in the middle of the city. I can't wait to see it again.
I am SO EXCITED for Brussels! Do you have any recommendations on must see places??? I'm only there for the day, so there will be much cramming in...but I cannot wait to see (and eat) everything!
Thanks for all the recommendations! A lot of that was already on the list (especially the CHOCOLATE), so I am glad I was on the right track!
If you do wind up going back to Cardiff, try and go to Cardiff Castle. It's AMAZING (if you like that sort of thing) and right in the middle of everything. I loved, loved, loved it.
I am in Massachusetts and I agree that the snowfall this year has made life a bit crazy! It's been pretty relentless...the snow pile in my yard is getting quite high and I don't know where we're going to put it all the next time a storm rolls through.
Which might be soon, as you said. Gah.
I would love to go to Colin's play in London...I've never even been to the UK! It sounds like an amazing trip.
A friend of mine lives in Boston and I saw the pictures on her facebook of the snow drifts in her yard. O_O
The good thing about living in the city is it tends to go away rather quickly, it's just gross and dirty for the few days that it's there. And it makes me fall a lot, because I am clumsy.
I am very excited to see Colin again--I saw him last year at BFI and a little bit in France, and OMG the EARS. *grabby hands*

I rewatched "Lancelot" today. I swear I could watch that stick fight between Arthur and Lancelot on repeat for hours. HELLO CHEST PORN.
