Well, Micah donated his hair this past Saturday. I’m really pleased and proud of him and his new super short doo looks fantastic. The problem is he’s inspired me to cut my hair in some way, shape or form ( Read more... )

My little sister shaved her head for cancer last year. I can't imagine being a bald 16-year-old girl! I was very proud of her (can you tell? :)

What kind of hairstyle is your ideal for the wedding? It would be exciting to have your hair made into a wig, but that can be done as easily later as sooner.

I haven't really decided what I would do with my hair if I get it cut... maybe some kind of forties do? Right now I"m looking at putting it loosly back so that the lenght still shows. I'm not planning on wearing a veil, so it's all about the hair. If I can find some pics I'll try to post them.

Hmm....I would wait until after the wedding and then go for a new "married" look, but that is up to you. It is a great idea!

You're right... I was thinking about cutting my hair after the wedding. I just wonder why I should wait?

I'd probably wait until after the wedding. All that beautiful hair of yours will be an even longer gift to the cancer society if you wait that extra bit. Then you can go crazy and get it nice and short! :D

Good to hear from you! Hope all is well.

I will try to keep my hair long enough to put into a ponytail even when I donate some of it. I'm far to vain about my hair to cut it all off again!

Everything's great! Tim and I got engaged. :D Life is beautiful.

Well, the longer your hair is, the more you can donate without having it really short anyway. haha

Huzzah! We should go out for dinner, the four of us!

If I get it cut now, I could donate again after the wedding... hmmm...

Depends how you want to wear it for your wedding, really....A simple updo should be fine with shoulder-length hair, plus if you want lots of braidy bits I'm sure a salon could add extensions for you. If you want something complex, or absolutely all your own hair, maybe wait, but hey! It sounds like a very worthy reason to have a simple wedding hair style.

I was thinking some kind of fourties up do, a roll or something like that. If I keep my hair long, I think I'll pull my hair back loosely then string pearls and crystals randomly through it... there are just so many options!

I like the idea of cutting it after the wedding. It will be longer then, and maybe you'd have enough to donate twice. It must be hard to be a child who suffers like that, well, for anyone really. Guess i'm vain about my own too.
I meant to call, I had a hell of a week. Good for some new stories I suppose. ;p Missing you.
