Where to start with this wonderful girl?
I've seen three main groupings in the fandom regarding Tiffany: those who don't know much about her, those who adore her for who she is and those who dislike her for who she is.
When I first got into K-Pop and the world around it, I disliked her. Why?
I was naive and believed everything I read about her: I didn't even think about giving her another chance. I held that stubborn mindset for so long, that, I look back and I wish I could shake myself out of it.
However, that all changed when I decided that enough was enough: I shouldn't make my own opinion based on other people's opinion. So, I researched. I watched, I listened, I read, I emphasised, I regretted: all those times I'd misjudged this amazing, sensitive, sweet girl, purely because of my own stupidity.
Which is why I'd like to think this post will do three things:
for all you people who know nothing about her, I hope this helps you realise what a great girl Tiffany is.
for all you people who love her already, I hope this post reminds you of the reasons why your heart belongs to this mushroom.
and most importantly, for all you people who dislike her and never gave her a chance, I sincerely hope I've done something to change your mindset: be it something small, like disliking her a little less, or something big, like changing your whole entire opinion on this sweetheart, I hope I've been able to help open your eyes a little and shown you the side of Tiffany that can only be described as admirable, heart-warming, tear-jerking and loveable.
so, why do we love Fany Fany Tiffany, you say?
9) Her eye-smiles can make anybody's day
As proven here, even Kim Jaedong and Ji Sukjin can't resist the eye smiles.
Any SNSD fan will automatically think of "Tiffany" whenever they hear the phrase "eye smiles", and there's no doubting why. Tiffany's eye smiles are so unique, and you have to admit, it's pretty cute how she smiles so much that you can't even see her eyes♥
in fact, she's so used to it, that she even admits it's a complex.
8) She's a great big dork
Actually, this is true for basically all of the members of SNSD, but Tiffany's no different from the other 8. The first time I noticed it had to be during their "Gee" promotion period. Every time they performed, my eyes were drawn to this silly girl, because of this:
She's done this on multiple occasions and each time I see her do it, it just makes me laugh.
Whether she's a dork on screen, when she's eating, or perhaps when she doesn't even realise, it does cheer me up so much, because she really is just the one of the biggest dorks in the world.
7) Only she makes mistakes on stage look so cute
Most of the time, these poor mistakes are dancing mistakes that she makes, but I think Tiffany accepts this fact quite openly, bless her! However, she does have a good reason for making them!
It's not just dance mistakes however: we get the rare singing mistakes too (or rather, speaking mistake?! skip to around 2:50 to see it), but she always apologises for any mistakes on stage, regardless whether it's her fault or not.
6) She's always the one being bullied
Although, again, everyone in SNSD is a big softie, I think I've witnessed poor Tiffany being bullied the most out of all of them. She's a bit like the Eunhyuk of the group, always being picked on out of love by the others?
I'd like to think she puts up with it because she's too nice to say anything about it or she just doesn't know how to insult them that well in Korean yet, aww.
However, even when she does try to be "angry", she's just too adorable, hence probably why the members continue to lovingly bully her.
5) Her hard work is so admirable
Yuri says it all right here, so well.
Tiffany's motto is apparently "Just work hard (practice makes perfect)" and I wouldn't be surprised if it was, because from what l've seen, she is a mighty hard worker, this one.
The first time I really noticed it was in Hello Baby.
Tiffany turns up, having bought a load of those "make your own toy" and "make your own pillow" set. Although she was often shown rejection by Kyungsan, I was amazed at her dedication and how much effort she put into making the little vest for Kyungsan. It just touched me so much how while all the other girls were talking and messing around like the girls they are, Tiffany bowed her head and started working hard straight away and at the end, when she showed off her garment, I just felt so proud of her, and that, right there is why Tiffany is such an admirable kid.
Because, you can see JUST how much effort she puts into everything she does and when she's done it, you feel that sense of pride with her, because you've also been able to witness the effort she's put into this task, and that just touches you so much.
There's an amazing thread over at Soshfied that contains just snippets of events that prove how hard working Tiffany is. I'll link it here and if you ever have time on your hands some day, maybe you could create an account on Soshified and just read it and realise what I mean.
4) She thinks about everyone else over herself

This was around this time last year, when Tiffany injured her ankle falling down the stairs, and really, this just amazes me: how selfless she is, how much pain she must have been in: how determined she really is.
She limped up all of those stairs for what? Just to present flowers to Yoona, her fellow bandmate. She didn't care how much it hurt, she didn't care that it would make her sprain so much worse - she didn't care what it would do to her, because she was thinking about Yoona, not about herself.
I don't know how trust-worthy this story is, but I'd like to think it's true, because, this is the kind of thing Tiffany would do.
Because she is just like that: she's someone who will help anybody regardless of how they treat her or have treated her beforehand.
And, just like how some idols are known to be regular UFO repliers, Tiffany is well known for logging onto Soshified and spending a few minutes talking to the fans. Imagine: you've just come home from your super busy schedule and you have an extra few minutes free. Most people I know of, including myself, would probably use that extra time for sleep or something, but Tiffany is different: she logs onto Soshified and talks to the fans herself, even apologising for not having visited them in so long!
Whether she's thinking about her fans, her other members, or even a stranger, I think it's fair to say that Tiffany always ranks others above herself, and I just find that utterly amazing and incredible.
3) She's not afraid to show her faith
I think there are very few people who are like Tiffany and are so proud of their faith. Sure, we have a few Super Junior members like Siwon, Kyuhyun, Kibum and Yesung, but they're about the only ones I can think of, off the top of my head?
She has apparently visited Soshified on many numerous occasions and not only does she take the time to talk to her fans, she also posts a Bible verse almost each and every time she goes there.
Regardless of whether you're religious or not, I think it's a great privilege to be able to feel the love she has for all of her fans when posting those verses.
She wrote this in the Soshified S-Box during the time period when she was having health problems with her throat:
Fany - I PRAY FOR YOU GUYS EVERY NIGHT AS WELL ! and i`d like to ask a favor so that i can be patient with my throat ! hahah i asked the girls too but i`m gonna let go & let god cause i think he`s prepping me for a bigger assignment right`?

What's even more amazing is that she isn't just saying stuff like this to give herself more attention: she practices what she preaches and I think it just makes her shine a little bit more, to know that there are still celebrities that are this down to earth.
2) She has an amazing singing voice
Tiffany may not have the best voice in the whole group, but, personally, I still really enjoy listening to her singing because she has such a unique huskiness and she has such a versatile voice.
She doesn't often get to sing by herself - most of the time she does duets with Jessica or with Seohyun (and can I quickly just say Seohyun's English is so good in that video!) or in small groups when they perform on the radio, but sometimes we get lucky and get to witness her solo potential.
The thing I most like though, is seeing how much she's improved since those videos - although she was good back then, I personally think that she's come so far in her voice development, as proved by this video. Even though her throat wasn't in good condition at this time, she still manages to pull off a pretty difficult song, and that, is why I think she has an amazing voice: it may still not be as distinct as Taeyeon's, or you may not notice it as easily as Jessica's, but she betters herself with every performance, and really, I think that's a good enough reason to deem her as a good singer.

Because out of everything I've linked here, out of all of the videos on this page, if you have to watch at least one, choose between these two, or, even, choose both of these videos.
These videos, right here, were the ones that turned me from a fan who liked Tiffany to one who adored her and admired her: it made me a fan who appreciated everything this young girl went through.
I can't even describe how much these two videos affect me: whether you think SNSD are an amazing group of fantastic girls or "plastic fantastic, just another girlband churned out from the cookie cutter", you will be touched by these videos. Heck, I can confidently say even a rock would cry tears at these videos, because, it's real. It's emotional, it's touching, it's saddening, it's admirable.
It is the main reason why I love Tiffany and all of SNSD.
