Knitting Needle Case

I've been having this knitting needle organization problem lately. I'd been thinking seriously about sucking it up and spending money on a commercial one but I wasn't excited about it. Then, it hit me. It's getting close to back to school time. There's tons of pencil cases out there on the market. So I made this....

just linked here from the knitting community... great idea, i might copy it, but i got even more excited about "I prefer to keep those in a vase as decoration anyway." i also almost never use my straights, i've never thought of putting them in a vase, soo smart!!

I have to admit, the "needles in a vase" idea wasn't initially mine. : ) I saw it in a book. Since I didn't have any actual "vases" at the time, I put them in an old 7-day candle jar (which is shaped very much like a straight up and down vase), which would have required a lot more explaination than just saying 'vase'. : ) But it works. They hang out on my decorative dresser in my sewing/knitting/dressing room.

That's a perfect idea. I hope I can find similar/or same zippered envelopes for my circs.
