I'm sad that Sunday is the last day for the WB. I have such an attachment to that network. Yes, they were stupid and got rid of way too many shows before their time, but I'll miss the WB anyway. I just was reminded that the last day for WB is Sunday and IT'S JUST SO SAD. I don't even watch anything on the channel anymore, but for years I grew up with its shows. It gave me DC and Angel and Buffy and GG. And so I'm so very attached to it being there it will be hard to say goodbye. That's sucks that you're not gonna get to see the WB's farewell though. I'm sorry. I'll try and send brainwaves of nostalgia for ya while I'm watching. :)

Even one of the ESPN commentators commented on how good the band was! :D

I hope Coach Rodriguez takes the offense to task for all the stupid penalties and mistakes they made. They practically gave Maryland two touchdowns. Still, they were amazing and for all that the commentators said we had a weaker defense, I think they did pretty damn good last night.

Our UPN station is gone as of today, but I don't think it was an official UPN station anyway, so no big loss there. I'm afraid I won't be watching the pilots on Sunday though, because FOOTBALL! *g*

Yeah, there were way too many stupid penalties. I can overlook a little of that because it's a rivalry game, but they really need to get it together. The defense worries me a little bit. They're doing okay for now, but they need to get the pass coverage in better shape before the Louisville game. They have plenty of time to work on it. I don't think it'll be much of an issue.

I'm afraid I won't be watching the pilots on Sunday though, because FOOTBALL! *g*

Hee! I don't have that problem. College football, I can watch all day long. And pretty much did yesterday. But with the NFL, I don't really care unless the Steelers are playing. Until the playoffs roll around, when how other teams are doing affects the Steelers. :)

When I was growing up, we were just a huge football family - high school, college, semi-pro, and pro - and I've carried that over.

I watched the Eagles/Giants game, and even though I hate the Eagles, I was kind of rooting for them because I'm so sick of the Manning brothers hype. But then in the fourth quarter with the Eagles up 10, Donovan McNabb decided to start goofing around, acting like the game was over, and he totally lost me. I started rooting for the Giants and Eli managed to win the game. That last quarter was really excellent football.
