i haven't seen you in a while.
ok, so i haven't posted in a while. i've just been so busy. a lot has happened in the past few months. my grandfather went into hospital for an operation and didn't wake up for 6 days, he had a stroke and was in intensive care for a month, even the doctors thought he'd never wake up, but after about 4 months he was let out. then my grandma fell and broke her ribs and punctured her lung and was in hospital for a month. so not a good time.
i'm currently searching for earmuffs, it's almost impossible to find plain, furry black earmuffs. my ears are very cold, there's snow everywhere and more coming down. it's good that we'll have a white christmas, but it's terrible to walk in, i've had my doc martens on for almost a month now. and we have to think about santa struggling through the snow with his sleigh and reindeer.
my nightmare before christmas list, yes that's what i'm calling it because it's on jack skellington notepaper, has been available for weeks with the various pretties i'd like. i've been a very good girl this year so santa has to get me some nice pressies.
i haven't had much time to sew, with work and hospital visits on my days off. so i haven't done any sewing at all. i'm now unemployed and searching for a job, but i don't have time to sew with all the christmas preparations that have to be done. at least i have all my presents in, now i just have the enormous task of wrapping everything.
i saw white christmas at the theatre on saturday, it was good but not as good as the film. it was nice to see it before christmas though.
anyhoo, i'm off to highlight some christmas programmes in the tv guide.
