It seems more and more difficult for me to post on TWoP all day, so I might use this more often. I usually leave TWoP up all day at work, but find that I look at it like, twice and frantically try to catch up

Well, if it's any solace, I didn't find Heros interesting enough to watch in the first place.
My dissertation chair has done work with litigation surveys -- mostly change of venue, but also a notable one to sever the trial of Martha Stewart and Peter Banacovic (I'm sure I just butchered the spelling of that). I used to crunch numbers for him when he did it. Let me tell you, I got paid a pretty rate, and my prof has a million dollar house in a mighty nice neighborhood in Houston. I certainly wouldn't mind doing that kind of work.
I am seriously thinking about giving up the MM. I mean, I'll miss it -- but by the time I catch up, I have nothing to say. And most everyone is here on LJ, so...
Yeah that is how I feel too. There is more substance here so when I really want to be caught up I go here anyways. I feel bad skimming the MM and then just talking about myself.
We are very Lorelai and Rory, and before we married my Dad we shared a (TWIN!) bed in my grandmother's house so it is always fun to go back to our roots. I find it amusing that you refer to it as "we" married Dad. That is very Lorelai and Rory, And my Mom would totally wake someone else up to turn off the TV, if she were half asleep when she decided it needed to turn off. I am also getting really nervous for the bar exam. I never feel like I am doing enough, but at the same time I still have 4 months and I don't want to burn out. It is a tough balance it seems.Did you already take the Florida bar, or did you move before you got to that point? My friend was doing some federal cases and had several clients from Texas, who have Federal District court in Lafayette. They wanted her defend them on a state level too. At first she was all about taking the Texas bar as well, but then she started thinking about having to take the bar again and decided it wasn't worth it. Are the laws very different in NY and FL? I live in LA, so ours are crazy
