Simply perfect.
The hotness and then the serious talking, Ennis's improvements to the projects to let Jack have the house of his dreams: beautiful and touching.
Their relationship developing in something more serious and their intimacy made me melt.
No sense of humor in the chapter, it's not needed now: they have a life together to plan and it's a damn serious thing to do.
Perfect, really perfect.

It's funny you mention the lack of humour in this part, as I was aware when I wrote it that it was more serious - it just seemed to be right that way I guess. Jack doesn't have to be an awkward employee anymore and Ennis is free to just be himself too.
