I agree. Snow is overrated, esp if you have to work and rely on public transport. It's becomes a nightmare, really. And why anyone whould CHOOSE to spend a holiday in the snow (ie skiing) is beyond me. Take me to where the sun shines and the sand is soft....

There was definitely thick, sledgeable snow in Dorset when I was primary school age. The school was even closed once. And as recently as...1997, I think? I was able to make snow wolves in the brambly bit at the bottom of the garden.

Snow rules.

Oh it may have happened once or twice in Hants too. But that makes my story less ranty which is no good, no good at all.

Out of all the times I have seen snow in the past few months, today was the first time that it started to snow this winter and I had the feeling of, aw man, snow, really? The novelty of snow no longer exists this season for this Florida native.

Living somewhere that rains A Lot, I sympathise with you. Rain's so damn boring. Still sunny california will be precisely that soon. Don't suppose you know what NYC's like at the end of March/start of April?
