I do admit, that in the middle of the horror of the news, my mind went to "OMG PH will be delayed!" in the sense that it was looking for something to make light of the situation. ><"

But those people who say imply that Japan and the affected countries deserved what they got?

They deserve to have their houses fall upon them or be washed away by the sea.

I'm glad your friends, bf and his family are sound and safe.
I had news from my friends rather quickly after I heard about earthquake/tsunami. I was so relieved they were fine too.

I continued to worry about tsunaami alert in other countries in pacific ocean and was glad to hear it was alright some hours ago.

Now, I hope Japan will recover soon. All my sympathy goes to the families who lost people in this catastrophe.
