Barack Obama won the Nickelodeon Kids Pick the President Poll!  This is good because those kids have been right four out of five elections since 1988.  Of course, we all wish they had been right four years ago when the kids picked Kerry.

Helloo. My name's Matt. I went to post to the philly_writers community and it looks like everyone gave up. I'm trying to find some writers from the Philly area, just to swap ideas or check out some story drafts. I'm just about done school so I don't have much in the way of creative writing classes and close, intelligent feedback, but those tended to be awful anyway ("God dammit, ANOTHER vampire story?").

You list Nelson Muntz as an interest and I approve.

Hit me up sometime. I'm not new to LJ, but I have no friends. *weep*

Also -- I hope those kids are right. But, they chose George W. in 2000? Those little bastards...

I actually don't live in Philly anymore, it just didn't work out. I hope the kids are right this year.
