I just got back from seeing "Monster," which was about serial killer Aileen Wournos. Charlize Theron played her and did a fucking amazing job. So did Christina Ricci, to her credit. Just...OH MY GOD. I was listening to my Coup CD earlier today in math, and I realized how much mainstream rap (by this I mean Nelly, Puff Daddy, et al.) really pisses me off. Now, I like the Coup (they're from Oakland, by the way--yeah!) and De La Soul, and a little Beastie Boys here and there...because they rap about important things, not just "OH, LOOK HOW MUCH ( Read more... )

I inadvertantly discovered today that I can download music onto my Mac, and burn CDs. I now have a 7 and a half hour playlist that has 110 songs.

I am amazed.

My website isn't working. God dammit, it's pissing me off, especially since I JUST finished the full review of the David Bowie and Rufus shows this morning and was going to put them on the site. AARGH!
