Oh, my, I LOVE the finished result! It just got even hotter, and the Dean voice at the start is perfect now.

I loved that you mentioned that it was too formal, because I started the story at work and was probably locked into that style. I knew there was something wrong with it; I just didn't know what. Reason 1,0001 why you're an awesome beta!

It's easy to do that - I've been writing Pushing Daisies fic, and I just wrote half an email in the style of the narrator of the show! *g* And I knew you had the right voice in you, that I wasn't pushing you too much, so I'm really glad my couple of thoughts helped! :-)

Yeah, "Pornier!" us always a thought I love to see. :-)

Did you refer to everyone by their profession in the Pushing Daisies email? :-)

(aside: one of my friends and her cohorts once spent a month emailing each other in the style of Jane Austen. Classic.)

Thanks! I actually wrote the porniest bits at work and had to keep looking over my shoulder to make sure no one was behind me. Ha.

Heh. I know that situation all too well. I've been there so many times at work, either reading or writing it.

I read this while listening to Mozart's Requiem. Interestingly, it was a good match. *fans self*

Fascinating! I love that piece. I guess both are melodramatic and, uh, climactic. :-)

Thanks for reading.
