So, this is American Idol fic. I did not actually watch this season of AI. A month and a half ago, monkiedude reappeared online, all twitterpated by some dude named David Cook. HI I LOVE YOU. You just made a really shitty day so much better.

I would quote everything I loved but that'd be the entire fic so. Suffice it to say? I adore this.

Belatedly replying to say thank you so much for reading! I had such a blast writing in those little things, and I'm so glad you enjoyed them.

I'm not sure if you are reading the other comm, any more, but I wanted to tell you just how awesome this was.

Because it was truly awesome. Your sentences, world-building, the dialogue, every single word. I totally fell in love with Michelle. David who?

(Also, snickering that the band was called the MarySues, oh my heck.)

I first read this in 2009 sometime and absolutely loved it. I did watch AI and love both David's talent and his love of music. Having said that, every other detail you created seem exactly like I would imagine him to be. You have a true gift for giving life to your characters, and I hope you know that. I'm also not afraid to admit that your writing about David and Michelle's lovemaking left me a little hot and bothered. You must either have an incredible imagination, or you're having some pretty awesome sex. Either way, well done!

I "found" your piece again today while going through my bookmarks, and I'm glad I did. I think I loved it more the second time around.

Thank you!

xoxo
