That having been said, I'm gonna smack the cynical side of you and then I'm going to tell you that the phrase is 'Ce'st la vie!'

Next year, let's make it a goal to go out dancing once a month with a group to different clubs. Maybe we can find some sexy and intelligent guys. How's that sound? (I say next year because finding a date free between now and then is hysterically laughable.)

Yes that sounds like a very good goal to me. But my experience tells me I wont find anyone at the clubs, but who knows.

Yes, I agree that he is an idiot. I know that anything I will tell you, I've said before, but it will happen someday. The obnoxious thing I have found about love is that it strikes when you absolutely are not expecting it. (I had sworn off guys the weekend your brother showed up.) It probably is harder since you want a family and you hear that little tick tock clock. I agree with shadowpryde and say that you need more intelligent guys.
