Now I needed to stuff the shoe so it would fit my big (but not so big) feets.
I simply lifted the lining/insole in the front and added this one:

OK, next step was to cover the heels with the pink taffeta. I lined it with vlieseline to protect it from the glue going trough the fabric. I cut out a piece big enough to cover the heel:

After the second layer of dye the shoes became darker blue than I thought but lucky for me (and thanks to Sofia who sended me the link) there is a pair of shoes from the time with just this blue colour!
