Movie Review of The Vow + Down in the dumps with Barcelona 0 Chelsea 1

So. Been a while huh. Life's kinda draining, even with me being all unproductive when that is exactly what I should be at this point of time. Why? Because my end semester exams are exactly a month away. And I've almost nothing finished. Nada. And I seem to have no tension of any sort whatsoever. That day a certain derived version of panic gripped me, but not really the complete, full-on, devastating form of it, when on browsing through the syllabus of Data Communication and Networking carefully that I had completed around 10 of the total 32 chapters that are there in the exam. And I'm holding the belief, that I shall finish everything soon enough.

Yeah, actual panic mode shall descend soon enough.

Today:

1. Woke up at 8:40 am, after 40 minutes of tossing and turning and having good snatches of sleep.
2. Watched Goal! with sis. Tres magnifique. Did watch it before once, and this is the second time. What I love about it is that it has shown how things take place when someone goes to try out for the football teams. Awesome really. One more favourite point: Kuno Becker trained to be a violinist in Europe, studying under the most renowned teachers in Salzburg, before he decided he wanted to pursue acting as a career.
3. Watched The Vow in the afternoon after it finished downloading. Really really really nice movie.

One of the things that stands out is that, it isn't a plot with a great many twists and turns and is pretty straightforward. I did get a feeling of something missing in there. Like there was a bit more they could have done. Like with giving a bit more Leo-Paige moments towards the end when she finally begins to fall back to her old habits without consciously realizing it, whilst still trying to regain the memories that she lost.

Screw the critics. What do they know, never having acted in a drama or a soap or an actual play, or having made some. The only person's opinion that matters is the viewer's, and the box office rake-in of 6 times the budget is proof enough.

Onto something more.

Pune Warriors have lost out like ducks in the last two matches and sincerely hope that isn't the case this evening, when they play in Delhi against the Delhi Daredevils. If we do manage to snag the tickets for the 5th May match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Pune Warriors, maybe going to the Eden Gardens with the Pune jersey on might result in humiliation. All I know is that I want Pune to fare well. They need not win the league, being a comparatively new team, but they should finish better than Kolkata. That should serve those high nosed asses well.

And my beloved Barcelona lost at Stamford bridge last Wednesday night, mostly because something called luck didn't favor them. Otherwise who hits on target 24 times and still doesn't score a goal? I sincerely sincerely hope Camp Nou will work to their advantage, because the concept of Barca losing in the Champions League is simply unfathomable.
