I know! I feel like a lot of people on my flist already knew him from things, but, you know, I had never seen Band of Brothers or Hex or 300 or even Inglourious Basterds before this year, so X-Men: First Class was the first time I ever saw him, and I was just like, Oh my god, who is this guy? And now I'm going back and seeing that he's been doing really great work for years, but it took a stupid superhero movie to make the world at large finally take notice.
I'm looking forward to Shame, and not just for Fass, but ever since I found out that Abi Morgan (who wrote The Hour) co-wrote the screenplay. But I would never be comfortable seeing it in a theater (and I'm sure that no theater around here would even show it, because it's NC-17). I really don't expect it to be sexy, though; I expect it to be disturbing and depressing.

I'm going to see Shame this weekend, I've been waiting until the Boyfriend went away so I can be alone with my naughty thoughts.
Oh and hello!

And agreed on Doctor Who s6, I don't get how it can have those two flawless episodes and still manage to give me rage.
