Help me, ladies. What's so fab about "mineral" makeup? Suddenly I see it everywhere. It's the new trend and I want to know from YOU, not the cosmetic companies who want me to buy it, what's new/different about it.
By the end of the day, I can blot oil off my skin with a paper towel. It's gross. But with wearing mineral makeup, it's a much less gross feeling (and less blotting). *BUT* not all mineral makeups are created equal. Most of the drugstore ones are a little mineral and a lot of crap. I use Bare Escentuals, which is 100% minerals. AWESOME. Somewhat pricey -- their foundation is $25 a container, but it lasts awhile. If you have the time, head over to KC and go to one of the BE stores (one on the plaza and one out by the racetrack I think) and get a "makeunder." They'll match your shades for you and teach you how to apply it properly (and how to cover up all those blemishes). Dude, I cannot recommend BE highly enough.
