Just to let you know...

...it took some serious fenagling, but we managed to find a way to save my manuscript.  Thank the Gods, I can start editing this weekend.

*tremendous sigh of relief*

Fantastic! I can barely imagine...

Memory stick? In my view, the greatest & most practical invention of the technological age, & worthy of a personal deity.

The Goddess Mem?

Cloud, memory stick, old zip drive, desktop computer, all now belabored with copies of my story. The challenge will be in keeping them all updated!

Incidentally, "Practical Magic" was a lovely tale and a charming film, but not NEARLY Alice Hoffman's best work. If you haven't read them, I highly recommend "The River King," or "The Blue Diary."

In my view, Practical Magic was an excellent story; the film was a pretty but pointless travesty.
In the book, it was Gillian who killed Jimmy & who turns up at the old house with him in the trunk of her car, after eighteen years. In the movie, it's Sally - when she puts belladonna in his tequila.

Why change something so fundamental?

I'm an admirer & have everything she's written. Love The Blue diary

I automatically back up as I go.
