Last night, Austin and I were lucky enough to score tickets to the Virginia Tech concert just around 5:30 pm (it started at 6:00 pm). There was four square going on, so we flipped a coin: heads we go, tails we don't. It came up heads.

The concert was pretty okay up to the Dave Matthews Band, at which point it became undeniable awesome. NaS was cool ( Read more... )

I'm glad you had such a good time at the concert. I would have loved to go there, too, if I weren't 4000 miles away...

I'm not so sad that i missed the show, if only because i had a magical moment walking from McBryde to the D-B: There's a short story behind my introduction to Mayer's "Why Georgia", and as i turned a corner i realized i was hearing it from Lane. Took a rest on a walkway to hear it through, felt relieved and light for a while after.

So . . . glad you & Austin enjoyed his stuff to some extent, too. ^_^
