Kaye is leaving next week. I tried to digest that news while we were in Eastwood last night for take out dinner and Watchmen. I couldn't remember the last time I saw her - it must have been months. It seemed as if we've had issues since forever, work, personal lives etc. And still, I could call her for things I wouldn't discuss to anyone else. I

Ako rin actually pero I didn't hate it. I liked the graphic novel better. And to think pinanood ko yun nang di ko pa tapos yung novel. Nung natapos ko, I was thankful pinanood ko muna kasi I'd hate the movie more if ever. LOL

I kinda like the soundtrack. Kasi parang bangag yung nag-isip ng ilalagay na kanta sa scenes--parang ako. :D

maganda yung intro, especially the "Lesbian Whores" part with the music and yeah, panalo si Rorscharch and I do love the Silver Spectre - Dr. Manhattan parts, but wala yung wow moment. I read the novel way back and I only remember I was so amazed by it. Tapos ngayon parang naging cheesy na lang siya, sacrifice to save the world etc. Di nila masyadong naipakita yung idealism, yung pagiging three dimensional ng lahat ng characters.

Wish you were there. The cinema was nice, pwede kang matulog. But then like me, you'd probably just scoff at the Eastwood lifestyle. :)

And yeah, sobrang napa-wtf ako na wala yung chapter ni Rorschach. Saka yung part na cinonvince ni Silk Spectre II si Manhattan parang sobrang minadali at pinasok lang diyan. Wala yung development nung character, etc. :(

But I must agree, sobrang astig nung opening. I think I came buckets when we were watching it. Nerdgasm to the highest level, probably. Haha!

Ugh. I hated Dr. Manhattan AND Silver Spectre. She was hot though. I actually loved the sex scenes. :P Oh, I really hate Dr. Manhattan. All-knowing jerk. :P But I like his blue penis. Hahahahaha.

I think the stupid and young refers to Silver Spectre and Night Owl, parang, oo na, we get it. You're idealistic and young. :P

of all the things to miss, the opening. :(( bakit ba kasi last full show ang inabot namin. haha

watchmen disappointed me, too. it had so much potential. unfortunately, most of the movie seemed rushed. i think mtrcb cut a few scenes from the night owl/silver spectre love scenes. the music skipped a few lines a couple times. haha

mtrcb should have cut more. ang haba kaya ng movie. the whole sex scene with the hallelujah background should have been removed! ang pangit.
