Marking Time
Just a heads up for those who have been patiently waiting for another update of this WIP. I looked at the current chapter again yesterday and realized it was way too long. So I found a natural ending point and wrote the missing opening and now it's almost ready to post. I just want to let it marinate a day or so, then read back over it when I'm not

I didn't dare ask since the last time I took a quick peek at your LJ you seemed to have quite a lot on your plate. But if...and only if... you have time, would you be interested in doing a quick beta? I could go ahead and send it tonight.
But if you can't that's perfectly okay. Please don't feel pressured to say yes.
On another note, you're in my neck of the woods! Though, Texas being as large as it is, I'm still a few hours away. I'm jealous that you're in San Antonio right now. I dearly love seeing the Riverwalk all decked out in Christmas lights! I'm guessing they're up by now.
Hopefully you haven't had any trouble finding your way around. The city has many wonderful qualities, but good street signage is not one of them. Heh.

San Antonio has...a reputation...roadwise. Even among Texans. But it makes up for it in many other ways. ::g::
One thing I'll say about us, we like our cars and we've got a whole lot of roads to use them on. Hee!
