the only thing i know about wellsley (apart from the college) is that it is one of the several disgustingly wealthy western suburbs of boston and even though i live pretty close to it, i've never actually been there - only driven through. i hope the ppl at the bookstore are fellow history nerds like me and not a bunch of hermes-toting assholes.

Ouch. Haha, but yes, it's true.

And the book is about Isabella of France, the wife of Charles II it's called 'Isabella She-Wolf of France, Queen of England'

I also posted the notice to the Wellesley LJ community, so hopefully you'll get some history lovers.

An oh, btw Wellesley has a class called The British Idles--From Norman Invasion to Tudor Domination

Even my current 45000 student university doesn't have any class on the Tudors, though several starting AFTER 1603, damn them.

Though in 2.5 hours I am sneaking into the European History lecture to see if I can hear something about them. Hehe.
