I love the knife in the math book. (Warning: Soapbox) Honestly, what really is the point of making everyone take three/four years of math in high school when only a small percentage is going to understand it, and an even smaller percentage will ever use it? I think an enlightened approach to history would be much more valuable. Or literature or other forms of communication/media. Popular culture. Supernatural...
Hehe, I´m glad you like the stabbed math book! I was afraid I overdid it a bit with that ;) Math really is an exceptionally boring and (for the most part) useless subject. I´m still wondering why I needed to learn how to calculate the radius or volume or whatever of a ball rolling through a three-dimensional coordinate system ;)
The coloring of these is absolutely gorgeous, and the warped, floating numbers work really well to add the right note of confusion to the scenes. Lovely, lovely work, as always.
Aww, thank you so much! <3 I´m so glad to hear that my decision to keep the colours rather "colourless" and add the flying numbers apparently was the right one :)
i really love that dean got so frustrated he stabbed his math book. his frustrated faces are really good too, and i like the cloud of kind of spidery numbers. they're tormenting him!
Thank you for the lovely comment! :) I´m happy to hear that Dean´s facial expressions convey the feeling of frustration. His faces were a bit of a "problem area" in these drawings ;)

And Dean could really use a hug... or someone to shoo the numbers away ;)
