Most perplexing thing on kindergarten supply list: Ziploc bags in two sizes: girls bring sandwich size, boys gallon size. Still don't know why, have speculated much, don't want the mystery destroyed

I wish I had an excuse like that. I've had an almost uncontrollable desire to saunter about my yard wearing fuzzy pink slippers, a house coat, and a big fluffy shower cap.

I was annoyed the first time I saw "boys bring foo, girls bring bar" on a supply list, but the teacher explained to me it was the easiest way to get half the class to bring each item, so I was mollified. :}
