no way

No matter what you think, I've decided no one can "start fresh".
Sure, the feeling is amazing, the feeling of "becoming a new person", but it's all just an illusion.

Probably senile. As House would say " Numbers don't lie " and unfortunately for most people, time degrades personality, passions fade and are replaced with genuine distaste, and apathy; routine is almost never a good thing. However, maybe because we realize this we can avoid it and maintain genuine happiness for the approximate 85 godless self defined years we have, and rather than fall into the subjective miserable routine of everyday life, we can learn to embrace our sort pointless lives, observe the world around us for what it is, and embrace the fact that our superior ability to understand grants us this. . . or maybe I'm just arrogant and I don't understand anything, but at least I'm trying. : ) You should really be happy that biology granted you with the ability to look at life so objectively, your wisdom seems to reach beyond your years.

We think so differently.
You take more of a logical, scientific approach to situations, and I have more wonder about them. I'm sure you've noticed this, and it's something I don't mind at all, I actually really like that.
I don't know about wisdom beyond my years, but I do like the way that I think. :]

Avoiding routine is like avoiding death

Illusion would be the proper word. Allusion is a different context entirely. As for the couple, I thinks it's wonderful that they can remain so happy in their old age, but a heavy reliance on each other like can have negative effects. As soon as one of them dies, the more than likely will fall to shit. I think about that a lot.

Thank you for the correction.
That sounded sarcastic, but I didn't mean for it to.

And I didn't even think of that.
