Title: A Twist of Fate
Ratings/Warnings: This chapter is extremely tame. You do have to put up with Caleb for one short scene, but at least he’s not Art.

loracj2. I usually ask her to look over each chapter twice, but I’m so sick of this one hanging over my head, I went ahead and posted it. I claim all punctuation errors as all mine.

I always thought Kirsten was more to blame than Ryan for Caleb's heart attack. Though, lets face it the only person to blame was Caleb. He liked his fine booze and his young fine women too much if you asked me. Anyway, if during the dinner with Lyndsay Kirsten had just stood up to her dad and told him to leave Ryan alone maybe it could have been avoided or at least postponed.

Hope you had a good Christmas and New Year. Mine was good, if uneventful.

I think, I already wrote you my thoughts about this chapter, so I just say HAPPY HOLIDAYS now.

I promise you, that next chapter we'll get back to Art and Ryan. Like I told Teach, I've pretty much got it all planned out, but nothing has been typed yet. I've made a vow that I must at least have it to Loracj by the end of January. Of course, I thought I would post this chapter before I had Itty Bitty and we see how well that turned out.

I think in this situation the Cohens would blame themselves. I have tried to make them a bit less self-involved than their canon counterparts.
Happy New Year.
