I am really enjoying this fic so far. I really enjoyed what was going on in Ryan's head....I just wish he would open up to Sandy.

It will be interesting to see if the next author chooses to have Sandy see the handprint or not. I think that at this point the only way Ryan will open up is if someone forces his "hand".

Eep! Lots of comments, but no takers. Do you think we scared writers off with the ominous, could-be-really-bad (or Snoopy!) photos, and Ryan's scary visitor?

Like everyone else, Anne, I loved what you did with this bit. It's been said before, but including Ryan's thoughts along with what he allows himself to say is just heart-wrenching. You give us so much insight in those few lines. They're that powerful.

So . . . I'm going to check back on Tuesday. If no one else has volunteered to write the next installment by then, I'll take it back. And if I do, I'll try to clear up the mystery a little so that other writers might be more willing to jump on board. Meanwhile, thanks so much for this part!

I think the photos could be scaring some off. I'll be the first to admit that I didn't want to be the one to decide what exactly was in those pictures. As it is now, it's obvious that they're not good, but the degree of how bad they are is still up in the air.

I definitely think that Ryan would be experiencing a vast array of emotions, but even a Season 4 Ryan had trouble expressing himself. So you know Season 1 Ryan could have never let his thoughts be known.
