Question about CA seat belt law

I was wondering if anyone from California could help me. I looked it up on-line and the way I understand it is that it is the law to wear a seat-belt in California. Here's the actual law...and it doesn't specify.
But here in NJ, they did the same thing - when it first started, they couldn't pull you over for just that - and now they can......

I'm eagerly looking forward to beta-ing TOF again!

Thanks for the second opinion. Actually, I'm probably going to get rid of the scene. It just doesn't work, but I may make mention of a seatbelt anyway.

You might change your mind about the beta-ing after you read it. The baby gets up every night/morning at 2:30 goes right back to sleep, but wakes up again an hour later. That's the only time I have to work on it. I'm not much of a morning person. I've got three pages written, but haven't even re-read them. I'm afraid when I do, there won't be anything there that actually makes sense.

One other thing, if you decide to use it - I think the fines were $20 or so for the first offense - as we were out there in CA when it took affect....however, here in NJ - it's $200.

Click it or Ticket. So yes, that is the only law you have to be in violation of.
