Repeatedly this summer I've considered my own contradictions. I eat meat but hate the meat industry, I believe in kindness and empathy but have an aggressive nature. I don't get along with many who hold my views. My friends are all very different. I love high fashion but have a distaste for my upper-class neighborhood. The list goes on and on.
