Catching up on Tennant-Who. I fully admit to tearing up when he changed over. I'm sure Matt Smith is great, but Tennant was just fantastic, wasn't he?

It's taking me forever to catch up with season 4 because I don't want to see Tennant go. I feel so negative about the new season - I have yet to warm up to Matt Smith and the new companion, and I don't like the new logo or the new theme :(

I was only able to see a little chunk of Matt Smith thus far, and so far they've got him doing things that might be funny, but are sort of gross and unpleasant. That's dangerous - they're wading into Colin Baker terrority!

Tennant was great because not only did the fans like him, he was a fan himself. I think that's what made his enthusiasm and heart come through so strongly. The man did a wonderful job.

My favorite is the cyanide scene in The Unicorn and the Wasp.

Bahahaha! Good one!

In the catch-up, I finally got a load of John Simm's Master. He's great, but I'm not positive why people are so obsessed with him. He just doesn't seem physically imposing enough.

I'm a DT fangirl through and through - he was and always will be the definitive Dr who for me.

Took me a while to brave the new series, but I actually find myself loving it. :)

I have to admit - one of the actors on Boardwalk Empire asked me who my favorite Doctor was, and I said Peter Davison. That's my Doctor, because that's who I remember from when I was a kid, that's the theme song I identify with the Doctor, that's my everything. When Tennant said to him on the special, "You were always my Doctor," I was hard-pressed to keep from shrieking.

But like I said above - Tennant loved doing the part, and I think that really came through. He wasn't entirely convincing as an abusive boyfriend, but a spazzy geek? Yeah, here comes your man.
