Stupid regulations

Apparently, all trainers and gym leaders are now required to carry these Pokenav things... It'll be nice to keep in touch with you all, but what kind of rule is that?

But as long as I have this journal thing, I have a question for any beginner trainers that stumble across it: do you know what strategy means? Because it does not

I've visited Cerulean City once or twice. Last time I was there the gym was run by The Sensational Sisters.

I'm a coordinator, so gyms are not my forte, but I did sit in on a few matches. I suppose things have gone down hill a bit since then?

Ooh. How did you land the gym leader position anyway? We're you like, a friend of the family, or a lackey of sorts? You must have been ecstatic to be in the presence of the sisters!

Their fashion sense is only second to mine.

The sensational sisters are *my* sisters. But I was no lacky! I want to be a water Pokemon master, if you must know.

I took over the gym when my sister's left on some lame world tour. Come visit again and I'll prove to you that things are far from going downhill here at the Cerulean gym!

It certainly is strange as a rule, but I find it good that these are so readily available and easy to use.

...how unfortunate that these new trainers don't look up basic strategy before jumping into battle. Unfortunate for them, and their poor pokemon. Hopefully they'll learn from their mistakes...

Other than that, how have you been Misty? I hope that you and Azurill are doing well.

Tracey, hi! It's great to hear from you. These things are good for that, at least.

It's really hard to feel bad for the trainer's whenn you see them making the same mistakes over and over again.

But Azurill and I are doing well. We've been training hard and I think I'll be using her in my next coming matches. I try to alternate my Pokemon so they all get equal experience, and Azurill is a little overdue.

How are things in Pallet? Are you and Professor Oak researching anything interesting?

On second thought, maybe you should visit after you're done with that project...
