Thoughts on Sylvia Plath and Yoga

I've heard it said that if you can fully understand the second sutra in Patanjali's Yoga Sutras, then you don't need to read the rest of them. Everything you need to know is encapsulated in the words yogah citta vrtti nirodhah - "yoga is the cessations of movements in the consciousness".

Congratulations for being so honest with yourself, that's huge. I used to live in a cloud of depression, but thankfully my growing baby belly and my commitment to it pulled me out. Not sure where'd I'd be now without B nearby if I was still under my bell jar..

I'm so glad yoga is bringing you peace and clarity =)
